 Didn't make a single bit of difference July 25, 2010

Followed the directions, and like other reviewers, several times, on a watch crystal, and blackberry display and it did absolutely nothing. I always read Amazon reviews before purchasing products but never reviewed one. This was so useless, I had to put up a review in the hopes of at least keeping someone else from wasting there money and time. Do yourself a favor and look for something else.

I purchased this polish with two goals in mind:
1) Clean some scratches out of my cell phone screen
2) Clean some scratches out of the plastic part of my Swiss Army Knife
With respect to the cell phone screen I didn't have much luck -- however -- I believe that is because the screen had some sort of coating on it. I don't blame the polish for that and the phone already needed replacement, so no harm done.
With respect to the Swiss Army Knife it did a very good job. With minimal effort it took away all the scuff marks and I believe it would have polished out all the scratches if I was willing to work with it a bit. The #1 "polish" is really just a cleaner (as many other reviews say). I mention this only because they try and sell it as something that is useful -- it really isn't so keep in mind that you are really paying for the #3 and #2 grits which do work quite well together.
I will certainly keep this stuff around and if I have other plastic items to polish I would certainly give this stuff a shot.

I purchased this kit based on the positive reviews. Before I tried it on something of value, I tested it on an old ipod. No 3 for deep scratches says it can irritate skin. That's because it contains acid. I couldn't get the one tiny light scratch off of the tiny ipod screen with No. 2 so I tried No. 3. That ruined the screen. The screen now has this weird half pitted half disintegrated appearance that is very shiny. I'm glad I tried it on something worthless first, I would NEVER use this on anything of value like a phone or display. Horrible product, there are many better on the market. Wouldn't recommend to anybody!

I had some scratches on a new motorcycle wind shield after the bike fell over and had a brush with the stucco on the side of my house. After reading the reviews I purchased the Novus kit. What a difference! It took about 20 minutes to remove about 85% of the damage. All that remains are actual cracks in the surface. The kit is a good value. A new shield would have cost 4 times the price of the kit.

I had deep scratch on the LCD Bazel of my HP DV 7 laptop. It did not remove the scratch but it made it slightly invisible. But before you apply this to your items for removing scratches make sure you cover the labels with tape. Otherwise you would regret removing your label than the scratch on your item.
